ST. CATHERINE (Sealink)

Passenger and car ferry that was built by Henry Robb Caledon, Leith, and entered service in 1983 as St. Catherine for Sealink, on the Portsmouth to Fishbourne, Isle Of Wight, service which continued after the Sealink services became Wightlink. At the time of building she was the largest ever Isle Of Wight ferry. In 2010, after being laid up at Hythe, Hampshire, she was sold to Delcomar and renamed GB Conte, operating on various local routes around Sardinia. (note: she is not 'double-ended' but has a true bow and stern)
