TOLCHESTER (Tolchester Steamboat Company)

Paddle steamer built in 1878 at Wilmington as St Johns for service on Chesapeake Bay, moving to New Jersey/New York in 1904?. Renamed Bombay in 1908? Renamed Tolchester in 1933 for service between Baltimore and Tolchester Beach. Destroyed by fire at Baltimore in 1941, although her hull survived as a barge.
