Product information

Danton-class semi-dreadnought battleship built for the French Navy at La Seyne that was commissioned in 1911. In WW1 she took part in the Battle of Antivari in the Adriatic and then spent most of the war helping to blockade the Straits of Otranto and the Dardanelles. Modernised 1923 -25 before becoming a training ship in 1927. She was condemned in 1937 and the following year was scuttled in Quiberon Bay for long-term use as a target. The wreck was broken up in 1950.
