Product information

VORTIGERN
Built in 1969 by Swan Hunter, Wallsend, as the multi-purpose (train, car, passenger) ferry Vortigern for British Railways. Based at Dover, then Folkestone. Sold in 1988 to Lindos Lines, rebuilt and renamed Milos Express. Became part of Hellas Ferries services in 1999 with her name changed to Express Milos. Sold to SAOS Ferries in 2003 and renamed Nisos Limnos. Broken up at Alang, India in 2005.
