WAPPEN VON HAMBURG (Seetouristik)
Passenger ferry built by Howaldtswerke Hamburg as Wappen Von Hamburg for HADAG, entering service in 1965, Hamburg-Cuxhaven-Helgoland. In winter 1965 she was chartered to a German investment company for cruises between Miami and Nassau as Lucaya returning to her former name and route 5/1966. The following winters she was used as a hotel and restaurant at Landungsbrucken. From 1976 her ownership changed hands several times but she remained on the Helgoland route. Laid up at Bremerhaven in 2005 and sold to Mercator Shipping in 2007 and renamed Mercator II. Work started on converting her to a cruise ship but in 2010 she was towed to Esbjerg for breaking up.
