WELLAMO (Silja Line)

Passenger and vehicle ferry built in 1986 by Wartsila, Helsinki, as Wellamo for the Finnish Steamship Line's Silja Line service. Rebuilt and renamed, Silja Festival, in 1992. In 2014 arrived at Kitimat, British Columbia, under charter, to become an accommodation vessel. A purchase agreement fell through and the vessel was sold in 2015 to Corsica ferries and renamed Mega Andrea and placed in service between Livorno and Golfo Aranci.
